I began working with clay in 1969.  With several years of teaching and learning, my first solo show (professionally) was held at  Bamfurlong Galley in Hahndorf, South Australia, in the early 80's. I was a member of the Potters Guild of South Australia,  participated in many group exhibitions and several solo shows. In 1986 The Art Gallery of South Australia purchased two pieces of my Andamooka series for their collection.

I have work in collections in the UK, USA and Berlin. My style has the flavour of 50s, 60s, Pop Art, Architecture, Memphis and Art Deco, displaying originality, modern ideas and fashion. I am as much concerned with traditional craft skills as with social issues. I try to emphasize colour with brightness, a  sense of cheekiness and fun, while trying to offer different perspectives on function and form.

I  have a strong sense of Community with volunteering at the Regional Art Gallery and often donate my work for worthy causes.

I was involved with the OSCAS  (Open Studio Ceramics Australia ) August 16/17 2013 and 2014. (The Australian Ceramics Association.)

I continue to learn while the next project is not usually very far away.

After having another solo show at the Gympie Regional Gallery in June 2016, it is time for reflection re future work.
